![]() A show I worked on this summer used midi from the musical director so that when he pressed a note on his keyboard, it triggered a click track, that the orchestra played to, and a recorded video of a ghost singing (but didn't start until several measures in) AND a Fog wall from the light board which the projected ghost appeared on. I worked on a haunted house once where a bunch of triggers (buttons, sensor plates, motion detectors) all sent midi signals to QLab and a light board to trigger different looks and sounds. To answer your last question, using midi with the light board has lots of uses. Its been a really long since I've used it (or the Bijou Plus for that matter) but I'm pretty sure it has midi commands. ![]() ![]() PC equivalent to QLab is basically SFX by Stage Research.
